My collection ‘Foraged Treasures’

documents the idyllic settings of my walks through Norfolk’s beautiful beaches and peaceful woodlands. Encompassing a slow making approach has enabled me to focus on the process, as researched through my dissertation I understand the benefits of small-scale production to connect to nature and local communities. My passion for the environment is also explored through sustainable colour with natural inks, handmade plant watercolours and eco dye prints.

My final year project was also directed by the live briefs and competitions I got involved in. Expanding my knowledge on natural dyes through the Society of Dyers and Colourists competition, Sainsburys live brief which allowed me to develop commercially and the Liberty project which taught me new ai technologies.

I have explored an artisan approach and market level which I look to build on in the future, along with my personal style and slow print processes I love and enjoy.
